We all wanted to go to the sea but, instead of trekking all the way there, we decided to bring the sea to us. The usual Yurta Interiors furniture—sofas, chairs, tables, and rug—were brought out to the front lawn, emptying the showroom to stage our installation. We covered the floor with sand and built a small pier, put on some ambient ocean sounds, and arranged the lighting so that our guests could enjoy the “seascape” first in daylight and then at sunset. Phenomenon Studio and Nargiz Magayeva helped us to bring the vibrant feel of water into our space. Our friends, designers, partners, and clients were invited to share this calm and joyful atmosphere, and when it started to rain, we continued to dance barefoot on the lawn.
